I photograph a very wide range of subjects—fashion shoots, job site visits, family portraits, behind-the-scenes on film sets. Recent work includes capturing portraits and lifestyle images of bands for album releases, as well as documenting milestone events like a grandmother’s 100th birthday party!

Most broadly I would state that I am a photographer of people. If people are doing something I would like to capture it into still images.

Before deciding that I would like to hold the camera myself, I studied writing and directing for narrative film at SUNY Purchase, and then moved to Los Angeles to work as a production designer for The American Film Institute and major retail brands such as Bombas Socks and Boost Mobile. I bring a collaborative film-set like energy to all my photo sessions. A photo is always a story.

Katie is energetic and passionate about creating dynamic images that bring her subjects to life. Her creative ideas and playful nature allowed us to find unique poses and compositions together that I would have never thought of.
